The natural process by which all plants take in carbon and release oxygen not only gives us fresh air to breathe, but also stores carbon that contributes to global warming.

Trees are a source of oxygen, absorbing carbon dioxide and other atmospheric gases, thereby improving breathing air. They constantly draw water from the soil and play an important role in climatic conditions by evaporating this water through their leaves.

It prevents soil loss by preventing erosion on inclined places. Trees reduce ultraviolet rays by up to half. According to research, people who live in places where afforestation is high are psychologically healthier than those where afforestation is low.
